Jul 17, 2024 Alison Harvard New iOS 18 Feature Helps Recover Lost Photos with Innovative Album Tool
Apple's next operating system update for the iPhone, iOS 18, was unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024 on June 10. Despite Apple highlighting several key features in this update, the release of the iOS 18 Developer Beta and the recent public beta have led to the discovery of additional features that might be included. One such feature is said to be a new album in the Photos app, which seems designed to help users retrieve photos that might have been accidentally deleted and presumed lost.
In iOS 18, according to a report, the Recovered album appears within the Utilities section of the Photos app on an iPhone. It can be found next to the Recently Deleted tab. This feature would reportedly identify and organize photos and videos on the user's device that do not appear in the Photos app. This could cover media affected by a corrupted database or those that failed to save properly in the photo library when captured. However, it is distinct from the Recently Deleted option, which keeps deleted media in a folder for up to 30 days after its deletion. It remains uncertain whether the media in the Recovered tab will follow the same auto-delete schedule or remain in the iPhone library indefinitely.
Speculations suggest that this new feature could be a response to a bug reported in the iOS 17.5 update, which led to the reappearance of media that users thought they had permanently deleted. According to the company, this issue arose due to "photos that experienced database corruption." This problem was reportedly fixed with the iOS 17.5.1 update, which was released a few weeks ago.
The Recovered option in the Photos app is expected to become available not only on iPhones but also with iPadOS 18 for iPads and macOS Sequoia for Macs. This development aligns with the rollout of the iOS 18 Public Beta, introduced to developers several weeks earlier.... Read More -
Jul 17, 2024 Benjamin Carter Star Wars Outlaws Promises a Fresh Departure from Traditional Ubisoft Open-World Games
Star Wars Outlaws stands apart from the typical Ubisoft open-world game, asserts Julian Gerighty, the creative director at Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment. The game is designed to break free from the usual Ubisoft formula, promising a distinct experience for its players.
Gerighty elaborated on why Star Wars Outlaws will stand out during a discussion with GamesIndustry. He highlighted two primary aspects that set the game apart, emphasizing that Massive Entertainment operates differently. According to him, their studio has always possessed a unique approach, initially functioning as an independent studio and later, as part of Activision. This differentiation extends to their work on The Division and The Division 2, which were not typical Ubisoft productions either. Although Massive has a distinct identity, they acknowledge the valuable methodologies offered by Ubisoft's game development style.
Since its reveal, Ubisoft has promoted Star Wars Outlaws as the franchise's first open-world game. Lucasfilm has also expressed confidence in Massive Entertainment, recognizing that a limited number of studios worldwide can handle games of such a grand scale.
Gerighty shared that the concept for Star Wars Outlaws originated from a straightforward idea: "Be a scoundrel in a galaxy of wonder and opportunity." This concise synopsis serves as both an elevator pitch and a testament to the game's ambitions. The preview labeled it as one of the year's most ambitious open-world games, suggesting that Star Wars Outlaws could indeed forge its own path and avoid conventional Ubisoft frameworks.
The game's structural design also differentiates it from traditional open-world maps. Players will explore five distinct planets in the Outer Rim, and though most of these planets can be traversed in about five minutes on a speeder, Gerighty insists they offer ample distractions and a significant amount of gameplay. For an in-depth look at the game's scale and its technical challenges, the discussions with the directors of Star Wars Outlaws offer further insights.
Additionally, a detailed feature delves into the creation of the game’s galaxy, with the development team quickly realizing that a genuine Star Wars open-world experience needs to extend beyond just planet surfaces.... -

However, with more upgrade options, the abundance of currencies can become overwhelming for newcomers. In this guide, we'll explore the most vital aspects you need to know, ensuring you will be able to handle the various materials you need to gather.
The game's convenience lets you automatically go to the required menu locations when you lack materials, making it straightforward to keep your Agents well-leveled. Dennies serve as your primary currency within the game. Use Dennies to purchase items and in-game goodies, which are plentiful and essential for your progress. Spending Dennies at the Bangboo store near Coff Cafe allows you to buy level-up materials, rotating daily. Additionally, keeping your Random Play video store operational ensures a steady income for Dennies each day.
Monochrome Film can be used to acquire Polychrome, which, in turn, is utilized to obtain Master Tapes and Encrypted Master Tapes or to replenish your Battery Charge. These tapes are crucial for summoning Agents through the gacha system in the Signal Search, where you can also earn a Residual Signal and Fading Signal with each attempt.
Boopons allow you to summon Bangboo units from the gacha pool and the Agents. These adorable and squishy Bangboo can assist you in combat or simply be a charming part of your team with their irresistible wide-eyed look. Battery Charge, another key resource, depletes each time you farm. Fortunately, you can replenish this energy by drinking coffee at the Coff Cafe, managed by the Tin Master barista in New Eridu. Various types of coffee can provide 60 Battery Charge or even special buffs. Additionally, the Ether Battery item restores 60 Battery Charge.
W-Engines are materials crucial for leveling up your Agents by boosting their stats by their attributes. Each character has a single W-Engine slot, which can be enhanced using raw materials. These engines are recyclable and can be crafted using W-Engine Chips. Purchase W-Engines at Susie's Box Galaxy gadget store to enhance your characters' stats effectively.
Drive Discs function similarly to W-Engines but differ in that each Agent has six slots for Drive Discs. Equipping sets of two or four of the same kind offers bonus effects for your character. Jul 07, 2024 Benjamin Carter The Timeless Charm and Future Possibilities of the Despicable Me Franchise "Despicable Me" has enthralled spectators with its delightful characters and fantastic narratives since its premiere in 2010. As the franchise has grown, fans have noticed that the young characters introduced in the first film have seemingly remained frozen in time despite the progression of sequels and spin-offs. This deliberate choice by Illumination and director Chris Renaud ensures viewers a consistent and familiar experience. However, recent discussions suggest that a significant change could be on the horizon.
The Perennial Youth of Despicable Me Characters
As we enjoy the adventures in the fourth mainline installment of "Despicable Me," it’s clear that the young characters—Margo, Edith, and Agnes—have not aged a day since their introduction. This phenomenon is not merely an oversight but a conscious decision by the movie's creators. Director Chris Renaud explained in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that maintaining the characters' youthful appearances instills a sense of continuity and nostalgia for the audience. The appeal of seeing the characters unchanged allows fans to reconnect with the familiar dynamics and personalities that made the initial films so endearing.
The Creative Decision-Making Process
The creative team behind the franchise faces countless decisions, one of which includes whether to allow the characters to age. Renaud elaborates that the abundance of characters in the "Despicable Me" world necessitates making careful choices about their development. Preserving their youth in the current setting has been vital for narrative coherence. Aging the characters would introduce new storylines and complexities, potentially transforming the core essence of the series. For now, keeping the youthful charm of the characters intact provides a stable foundation for existing and new narratives.
Envisioning the Future
Interestingly, Renaud does not completely dismiss the idea of aging the characters in future installments. The concept of setting a movie 20 years into the future presents exciting possibilities. Imagine God’s children stepping into their father's villainous shoes or carving their own paths. Renaud specifically mentions potential scenarios such as "Gru Jr. and Edith inheriting dad’s villain business." This speculative angle opens the door for new plotlines and the opportunity to explore character growth and evolution.
The proposition of a time leap brings with it a wealth of unexplored territory. It could provide fresh dynamics, with older versions of the beloved characters encountering and overcoming challenges reflective of their matured personas. This would not only refresh the franchise but could also appeal to an aging audience that grew up with the films.
Character Evolution and Storytelling Freedom
The possibility of a future-set film raises intriguing questions about character evolution and storytelling freedom. How would an adult Margo tackle challenges differently from her younger self? What kind of dynamic would Edith and Agnes have as grown-ups? These are questions that fans might be eager to see answered, providing... -
Jul 06, 2024 Alison Harvard The Dark Knight Faces New Foes: Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League Unveiled The trailer for the unexpected sequel to the Batman Ninja anime has astonished DC fans. The iconic Dark Knight is set to face a reimagined Justice League, depicted in never-before-seen personas. In this fresh narrative, Batman and Robin find themselves in a surreal environment, entirely different from the world they know, crossing paths with the Yakuza League, an iteration of DC heroes turned Japanese gangsters. This intriguing twist promises a riveting adventure, with the Caped Crusader and his loyal sidekick up against formidable foes in a battle for justice.
The Journey So Far
The original Batman Ninja, released in 2018, vividly reimagined Gotham's hero. The film saw Batman transported to feudal Japan, thanks to Gorilla Grodd’s time displacement device. This unexpected journey left Batman stranded in an unfamiliar past, where he allied with Catwoman to tackle a Joker who had become the unrivaled leader of the era's warring factions. Directed by Junpei Mizusaki, the film left a significant impact with its unique blend of DC lore and Japanese aesthetics, and its unexpected success has now paved the way for a sequel.
Fan Reactions and Expectations
The Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League announcement has stirred significant excitement among fans. Multiple comments on social media platforms reflect the anticipation surrounding this new release. One enthusiastic fan mentioned, "I never expected a sequel, but I'm all for it. I actually liked Batman Ninja, and the first movie was just flawed. Seeing a second one a couple of years later is exciting!" This sentiment echoes a broader appreciation of the unique artistic style that the first film introduced.
Another excited fan confessed, "I can't wait; I've been dying for this," while a third proclaimed, "The aesthetics of Japanese animation are the savior of DC and Warner." These reactions highlight a broader trend of appreciation for the fusion of Western superheroes with Eastern animation styles, suggesting that the sequel could achieve notable success if it retains the innovative charm of its predecessor.
Aesthetic Fusion
One of the standout elements of Batman Ninja was its exceptional visual style. With animation rooted deeply in traditional Japanese art yet innovatively bringing to life the world of the Dark Knight, it created an aesthetic masterpiece. The same director, Junpei Mizusaki, returning for the sequel, brings hope that the new film will maintain, if not surpass, the visual standards set by its predecessor. The seamless blend of Japanese cultural elements with the iconic characters and settings from DC Comics promises to offer something truly refreshing and unique.
Plot Speculations
While the trailer offers only glimpses, it has sparked numerous speculations about the film’s plot. The mention of “Yakuza League” suggests that fan-favorite heroes like Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and The Flash might appear in roles distinct from their traditional...
