Candy Crush Soda Saga, released on October 20, 2014, is a mobile puzzler by King, available on iOS and Android OS. It's the second chapter to the Candy Crush series set in the Candy Kingdom, where the goal is to clear the game board of jelly or soda within a time limit. The player loses a life if the time runs out. Even though the game is free, it includes in-app purchases for extra lives and boosters, and requires turn-based play.
