Amazon Luna expands its availability to three more countries and adds new games from GOG, including Stardew Valley. The cloud gaming platform has launched in Austria, the Netherlands, and Poland, offering users access to a wide selection of games in these countries.
Additionally, Amazon Luna has partnered with GOG Game Store to provide more than 40 titles available via the cloud. This collection includes popular games such as Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight, and Cuphead.
Luna+ subscribers and Amazon Prime members now have the option to purchase and play selected games from the GOG store on any Luna-compatible device. Fire TVs, Fire Tablets, carefully chosen Samsung and LG smart TVs, mobile gadgets powered by iOS and Android, along with desktop instruments like PCs, MacBooks and Chromebooks all fall under the category of these devices.
The platform will continue to expand its selection of games from the GOG store, offering customers a variety of additional titles in the coming months. Subscribers and Prime members can also play games they already own from the GOG store by linking their existing GOG account on Luna or setting up a new one.
To link accounts, users need to go to Settings, select the Account Linking tab, and choose Link Account or Create Account. Once the accounts are linked, compatible games will appear in the Luna library and be ready for play.
From now until July 11, customers can take advantage of discounts of up to 85% off select games from the GOG store, thanks to the latest GOG Summer Sale. Discounted games include Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight, Cuphead, Metro: 2033 Redux, and more.
Maciej Gołębiewski, GOG's managing director, expressed excitement about the partnership with Amazon Luna. He emphasized that Amazon will uphold GOG’s high standards for player experience across various devices and viewed this collaboration as an excellent opportunity to reach a new audience of gamers on Fire TV and Fire tablets.
This partnership marks the beginning of ongoing additions to the selection of titles available on Amazon Luna.
