This article introduces a new perspective on a popular spinoff that recently showcased its gameplay and upcoming testing phase. Special emphasis was given to the one-of-a-kind characteristics that make this experience stand out from the original cooperative shooter.
During a recent Triple-i Initiative presentation, the development team from Ghost Ship Games provided another look at the dynamic project. This installment is an FPS roguelite adventure that invites one to four players to assume the role of a dwarven miner. In this setting, players explore hazardous underground worlds with the goal of reactivating essential stations and establishing control over various operations.
The event also featured early previews of the four distinctive playable character types, which include the following:
- First character type
- Second character type
- Third character type
- Fourth character type
As the gameplay unfolds, players will embark on repetitive dives, collecting resources along the way to enhance their characters. In addition to transient boosts discovered in salvageable caches, visitors can invest gathered Expendite to acquire lasting improvements. Permanent unlocks are also available through the central hub known as RV-09 Ramrod.
Though a definitive launch date has yet to be announced, preparations for a closed alpha test are underway. Interested participants can register through the project's Steam page to gain early access.
