WhatsApp is known for its end-to-end encryption feature, providing a secure experience between the sender and recipient. If you're using WhatsApp on an Android device, there are numerous built-in features to keep you safe. Here's how to encrypt your WhatsApp backups on Google Drive.

Step 1: Open WhatsApp
Open up WhatsApp on your Android device and tap the three dots in the top right corner.

Step 2: Select Settings
In the drop-down menu, select Settings.

From the Settings page, select Chats.

Step 7: Enter the Password
On the next page, you'll need to enter and confirm a password for your encrypted backup.

Step 8: Tap Back Up
Once you've entered a password, tap Back Up.

Step 9: Verify Backup
Finally, verify that the backup is completed and confirm that your chats and data are securely encrypted in the cloud.
